The majority of recipes in this blog are based on recipes from other sources. I have disclosed in each recipe, where I sourced the original. In the majority of cases, I have taken a recipe and then modified 1 or more ingredients to create my version of the recipe. Often, I substantially increase the quantities of spices or replace an ingredient with an alternative.
Photos included in recipes and wine recommendations have been taken by myself. I have not tried to style the food in any way as I want to ensure you can visualise the end product as it actually looks, not some stylized version.
Any recommendations in my blog have been made purely based on my personal experience. My partner worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. He now works in wine retailing and I often seek his advice and guidance in matching wines with foods. Some recommendations are simply because I want everyone to realise that there are a lot of great wines out there that are inexpensive and reasonably priced and perfectly OK to serve at a dinner party or as every day drinking. If I recommend a bar or a cafe, again, it is because it is a nice place or the food is so good I am happy to provide my support to them by recommending the place. I do not receive any financial benefit from the recommendations I make.
